Everton manager Roberto Martinez was full of praise for the performance of his younger players after the Blues’ 1-0 defeat against Krasnodar on Thursday.
The Toffees progress through to the Europa League last-32, but the former Swansea boss was more focused on the development of some of the less experienced members of his squad.
And the 41-year-old admitted he knows which players would be ready for more first team action.
"I have a clear idea now of which youngsters are ready to help the first-team and which ones can help with more development,” Martinez said.
"Developing our youngsters is part of what we want to achieve. They will have learned a lot and I'm very proud of the work we do.
"I thought the youngsters were cagey in the first half but they expressed themselves in the second. That was very pleasing to see."
