Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has hinted he could leave the club next summer if they do not qualify for the Champions League.
The France international looked set for a move away from St Mary's last summer, with Arsenal heavily linked with Saints’ star man, only for the south coast club to refuse to let him leave.
Despite last summer’s fire-sale, which saw club captain Adam Lallana and a host of other first-team stars seal big money moves away, Southampton have made a fantastic start to the Premier League season under new boss Ronald Koeman and are currently in second place behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
However, despite the new-look side’s success, Schneiderlin is unsure how long he will remain at the club.
In an interview on the France Football Federation's official website, the 25-year-old said: "A career passes quickly and I want to play for a big club.
"Today I am at Southampton. We are second in the Premier League, it is going well.
“We'll see at the end of the season what will happen if we are still in the Champions League places and I will make the choice. I will see with my club."
