Jose Mourinho has rubbished recent reports suggesting Petr Cech has asked to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window - while claiming the Blues are not going to sign reported target Anderson Talisca either.
There have been claims that the Czech international goalkeeper was likely to leave Stamford Bridge during the next transfer window after losing the number one role to 22-year-old Thibaut Courtois.
Cech has only made one Premier League appearance this season to replace the Belgium international when he sustained a head injury during the Blues victory over Arsenal on 5 October – while his only four starting appearances came in two Capital One Cup games and two Champions League games.
But when asked during the press conference ahead of Saturday's match against West Bromwich Albion whether Cech has already asked to leave West London, Mourinho said: "Are you telling me that or asking me that?"
"On which Mickey Mouse website? On which Mickey Mouse blog? At this moment, news is coming instantly. News born every day, every minute, every second. Some news are not even signed. Some website, some blogs, we don't even know where we get the news. I promise you I tell you the truth. On my desk, normally from my board's desk the information arrives, I have zero. Zero proposals," the boss said.
"I believe in what is happening at this moment. At this moment, Petr Cech is our goalkeeper and has a contract for two more years. He's a fantastic professional and puts the team's interests first. Not once has Petr Cech knocked on my door to inform me of his desire to accept some proposal. This is my truth. Nothing more I can say."
Meanwhile, Mourinho was also cutting when asked whether Benfica offensive midfielder Talisca could arrive at Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window by responding with a simple "No".
The Portuguese boss had admitted his admiration for the Brazilian starlet during the summer, claiming that he would have joined a "great and important" Premier League side if it wasn't for work permit issues.
The 20-year-old star has since been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United but it looks like Mourinho is not interested in securing his services at the moment.
