Steve Parish has told talkSPORT that he isn’t surprised that no top-flight manager has recieved the sack this season.
The Crystal Palace chairman believes that change can often be a hinderance unless it appears that the manager has lost the dressing room.
With the Premier League so tight at the bottom, the Eagles man feels that there is little point changing a manager if the team is performing well.
Parish told The Sports Bar: “A lot of it depends on what is going on at the club, if you feel the players are giving a good account of themselves and that the manager is in control and the players are playing for him, typically why would you change.
“I think it is when you see things going wrong, then you have a decision to make. At the moment everyone is doing pretty well, Burnley have turned it around, QPR are winning at home and Leicester are playing well without getting results.
“So i think the right thing to do is to stick by your man, because it is not always beneficial to change.”
