Liverpool loanee Iago Aspas is showing off his clinical skills at Sevilla, scoring a since goal every 64 minutes and even netting a hat-trick in four minutes, even though manager Unai Emery is limiting his playing time as Brendan Rodgers did during his time at Anfield.

The Spaniard joined Liverpool in summer 2013 for around £7m after scoring 12 goals for Celta de Vigo in La Liga.

But with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge excelling at Liverpool last season, he only started five matches during the whole season. So Rodgers agreed to send him on loan to Sevilla in the summer in a deal that would last until the end of the season, with an option allowing the Andalusian club to make the move permanent.

With former Arsenal target Carlos Bacca and Kevin Gameiro ahead of him in Emery's attacking pecking order, Aspas' playing time has barely changed during his time in La Liga - but his stats have improved.

While Aspas netted a single goal in the whole of last season, he has already scored seven in 451 minutes for Sevilla, meaning he is bagging a goal every 64 minutes.

Even though he is yet to start a La Liga game, he has scored seven goals in three of his four starting appearances of the campaign – in the Europa League and the Copa del Rey when the manager handed opportunities to the fringe players.

The Spanish striker scored a goal earlier in the season in the Europa League against Rijeka, while he has netted a couple of hat-tricks in the Copa del Rey double tie against Sabadell.

The 27 year old scored a treble in the first leg in October while on Wednesday 3 December, he netted a another hat-trick in just four minutes to lead his side to a 5-1 victory, winning 11-2 on aggregate.

Aspas scored his first goal into the 59th minute, with the others following in the 60th and 63rd minutes, quicker than the hat-trick Robbie Fowler scored against Arsenal in August 1994 - the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history.

Sevilla-based newspaper Estadio Deportivo admitted "magician Aspas is urging for a starting role" in every single opportunity he enjoys.
