Everton will take on Manchester United in the weekend Premier League clash at Goodison Park on 26 April.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 1.30pm BST. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10.30pm BST.

Overview

Everton come into this game registering a narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley in the last league fixture at home. The good news for the Toffees is that they are unbeaten in the last five matches played in all competitions at Goodison Park.

The last time these two teams met at Merseyside saw United suffer a defeat under David Moyes, which was the Scot's last match in charge as the Red Devils manager. Things have changed since then at Old Trafford after Louis van Gaal replaced the former Everton boss.

Romelu Lukaku
Everton manager Roberto Martinez will be banking on Romelu Lukaku to fire against Manchester United

Meanwhile, United's winning streak finally ended after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to league leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the last league fixture. The Dutchman will be hoping his side can bounce back with a win when they take on Roberto Martinez's side.

Van Gaal is once again without his star player Michael Carrick in the midfield, but he will be able to call upon the services of defender Jonny Evans, who served his six-match suspension. He could replace Paddy McNair in the back four and partner alongside Chris Smalling against Everton.

What Managers Say

Roberto Martinez: "We're facing a side in the best moment of their season. We felt we deserved better [in the first game], David de Gea had two world-class saves. It's two teams in a good moment of form. We're looking forward to facing this side and we feel we've got something to get back from the game at Old Trafford."

Louis van Gaal: "It's better [to be third]. We set this goal because it was very difficult to reach the top four. I am the manager and I have to achieve that and they [the board] have set this goal for me to achieve, but I'm always in a club to win the championship and not the fourth position or the third position. I think when we achieve our goal, my board and the owners are very happy."
