Hull City will take on Liverpool in the midweek Premier League clash at KC Stadium on 28 April.

Where to watch

Kick-off is at 7.45pm BST. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

Hull City come into this game after ending their winless streak by registering a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. It was the Tigers' first win in the last six matches and Steve Bruce will be looking for a win against the Reds on Tuesday.

Hull will have to face Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their remaining fixtures. Bruce will be hoping his side can kick start the tough set of fixtures with a victory over the Merseyside club.

Brendan Rodgers
Rodgers is under pressure to deliver in the summer after a series of uncertain signings

Meanwhile, Liverpool enter this fixture after a disappointing goalless draw against West Bromwich Albion after dominating the game. Rodgers was not impressed with his side's lack of ability to find the back of the net.

The former Swansea boss will be looking to set things right when his side take on Hull this midweek. Liverpool are fifth in the table with 58 points and are seven points behind fourth placed Manchester United. A victory in the midweek will help them reduce the gap to four points.

What managers say

Steve Bruce: "We have got four out of five at home against big teams. We know we need to get a result against one of them and the Burnley game looks huge. We're at home, we have got to try and produce a result I know we're capable of."

Brendan Rodgers: "For me, I am as hungry as I have ever been. I am ambitious to win and there is no greater place than here to win and I am still committed and motivated to do that here for sure."
