Tottenham starlet Nabil Bentaleb has told talkSPORT Spurs have every confidence in their ability to secure a top-four finish to the Premier League season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s in-form side have closed the gap on the Champions League places with an impressive run of form since the New Year.
Last week’s 3-2 loss at Liverpool was only their second defeat in 11 league fixtures, with Spurs now sitting just three points below fourth-placed Southampton.
The North Londoners are also set to continue their ongoing battle with derby rivals Arsenal in the remaining months of the campaign, with the Gunners one point above in fifth place.
But, with a host of big games just round the corner, including Sunday’s derby clash with West Ham and a League Cup final with Chelsea, Bentaleb insists they are not concerned about their rivals and are just focussing on their own game.
“It’s all about confidence, and we have a lot of confidence in this team,” the Algerian international talkSPORT.
“We know what we can do on the pitch, but we’re not looking at Arsenal.
“We’re just making sure we keep focussed on our own performances and we’re taking the rest of the season game by game.
“We have many big games coming up and we have to be focussed and just think about our performances.
“If we do that, hopefully everything will go right for us.”
