Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and winger Raheem Sterling's fitness will be assessed ahead of the FA Cup fifth-round tie at Crystal Palace.
Gerrard was withdrawn after 68 minutes in the win over Tottenham Hotspur due to a hamstring problem and replaced by Dejan Lovren, while Sterling missed the victory on 10 February with a foot injury suffered in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Both players are being monitored ahead of the tea-time kick-off at Sehurst Park on 14 February, with their fitness for the cup tie likely to be determined in the next 24 hours, as Liverpool sweat over the due's physical state.
"Unfortunately, [Gerrard] felt his hamstring just towards the end of the game," assistant manager Colin Pascoe, standing in for manager Brendan Rodgers who is away on club duties in Italy, said.
"He's having a scan this morning and we're just waiting for the results to come back on that one.
"We're monitoring Raheem," he added. "He was gutted he missed the game the other night as he wasn't available. We're just monitoring him and seeing how he is."
Kolo Toure is also unavailable after helping the Ivory Coast win the Africa Cup of Nations last weekend after defeating Ghana on penalties but will return to the club's Melwood training ground next week.
The match against Tottenham saw Daniel Sturridge make his first Liverpool start since August 2014 after five months out with a thigh injury. He played for 74 minutes before coming off for eventual match-winner Mario Balotelli.
Despite cameo appearances in Liverpool's last four games, the club are unwilling to overload Sturridge in the early weeks of his comeback and Pascoe says his fitness will be managed.
"He didn't want to come off [against Spurs] He's desperate to play, 60-70 minutes was the maximum we could push him, it's a progression with Daniel," he added. "We will monitor him, but if he's feeling great we will talk.
"We knew that Mario would be coming on for the last 20 minutes. It's a progression with Daniel - we can't push him too much at the moment. We'll monitor him and see how he is and how he's training.
"He's recovering at the moment. He's feeling great and he's feeling well. We'll have to talk to the sports scientists, but we don't want to push him; we don't want to break him. But he's not far off 90 minutes."
