Burnley manager Sean Dyche remains confident of his side’s ability to avoid Premier League relegation, despite Saturday’s defeat to Arsenal leaving them still in the bottom three.
The Clarets fell to their 16th loss of the season as Aaron Ramsey’s first half goal handed the second-placed Gunners a 1-0 win at Turf Moor.
It leaves the Lancashire outfit two points from safety, but Dyche insists survival is still a very realistic prospect for his side given other results on Saturday's fixture list - including a defeat for rivals Hull.
"We feel we have quality," said the boss, whose team have gone three games without a win since their shock win over Manchester City.
"We've got different challenges coming but they won't be like the ones we've had recently.
"We've got good belief in our performances. We still need to add quality to our performance, but there's certainly a will and a demand to go and get more points this season."
"We had our moments but you have got to take them and that's what we've found all season.
"You could see there was a belief in the side but you need moments of quality to win football matches. We have been really good lately at keeping the back door shut and apart from the goal I thought we defended really well."
Burnley face a trip to Everton next, with games against relegation rivals Leicester, Hull and Aston Villa still to come, and Dyche is hopeful his side can build on their dogged performances against the top teams to end season on a high.
"Coming into this run of eight games [against the big clubs] people thought we might get nothing and were writing us off but we're here, we're willing and there's no lack of appetite,” he added.
"We think the team can perform and win games and with respect to the teams we're going to play now, they're not as strong and powerful.
"They are edgy games, awkward games against sides having awkward times, and there's a strength for us because we have less expectation from the media.
"We want to be effective enough to win them and I think we have to learn from everything we've done and package it all together and make it happen over the next six games."
