Manchester United are reportedly in danger of losing highly-rated youngster Andreas Pereira, who will be out of contract in the summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to double United's offer to take the Brazilian youngster to the Parc des Princes in the summer.
Pereira, who becomes a free agent in the summer, has been offered a new contract by United, as they are reluctant to lose him, but it is believed that their offer of £6,000-a-week is dwarfed by PSG's offer of almost €30,000-a-week.
The report claims that the Brazil youth international has been advised to leave Old Trafford in search of regular first-team football and his father, who is also his agent had admitted earlier in the year that PSG is a club that Pereira would consider if United agree to sell him.
Louis van Gaal has given youngsters the chance to shine over the course of the season, and this has seen the likes of Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair and James Wilson progress and make strides with the first-team, but Pereira despite being highly-rated by United's youth coaches has failed to register a start this season.
The former trio have been extensively used by the manager and have 33 Premier League appearances between them, while Pereira on the other hand, has just two substitute appearances in all competitions.
Moreover, the Red Devils have managed to secure Blackett and McNair to new contracts, but have struggled to convince the Brazilian to commit his future to the club.
United are experienced in matters regarding highly-rated youth team players leaving at the end of their contracts, as the club suffered the same fate with Paul Pogba, who rejected an offer due to lack of playing time to join Juventus as a free agent in 2012.
