Frank Sinclair has expressed his delight for Leicester, after his former club ensured their Premier League survival with a remarkable run of form over the last few months.
Propping up the table at Christmas, the Foxes have lost just once in their last eight league games and Sinclair insists their drastic turnaround in fortunes is a true representation of the quality of their performance levels throughout the season.
The former Foxes defender said: “They were playing fantastic football when they were getting beaten earlier this season but weren’t getting results.
“For Nigel Pearson to stick to his beliefs in the way that he wants to play open football, regardless of who they have played against, I think they’ve got their just deserts.”
