Reports - Hull City star set to end KC Stadium nightmare

Hull City misfit Abel Hernandez is ready to end his nightmare stay at the KC Stadium and return to Italy, according to reports

Hull City misfit Abel Hernandez is ready to end his nightmare stay at the KC Stadium and return to Italy, according to reports.

The Tigers' club-record £10m signing failed to hit the heights expected of him during a miserable season which ended in Hull's relegation from the Premier League.

Hernandez, 24, who could also face a retrospective ban for violent conduct after punching Manchester United centre-back Phil Jones during Sunday's draw, reportedly wants to play in Italy again.

Hull signed the playmaker from Palermo in September and are likely to be prepared to shift the Uruguayan international off their wage bill for a reduced price this summer.

And now, according to Tuttosport, Hernandez has been attracting a wealth of interest for his signature from sides in Serie A and Serie B.

The Hull forward hit just four goals in 24 Premier League appearances for Steve Bruce's relegated side.
