Juventus chief keen to keep Andrea Pirlo but confirms Carlos Tevez could go amid interest from Liverpool

Juventus want to keep Chelsea target Andrea Pirlo in Turin but are resigned to losing Carlos Tevez.

Italy international Pirlo, 36, has been linked with a move to the Premier League and MLS while talkSPORT told you this week former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Tevez is reportedly interesting Liverpool, as well as Atletico Madrid.

Playmaker Pirlo, who is yet to ply his trade in England, has one year remaining on his existing contract with the Old Lady but boss Massimo Allegri is reportedly willing to sacrifice Tevez should he receive a concrete bid.

The Argentine forward scored 29 goals in 48 outings for Juve last term but is out of contract at the end of next season.

"Tevez? It's his choice (over his future), and we'll respect it. We can't wait long, and the relationship (between us) is fantastic," Juve's director general Giuseppe Marotta told the media after unveiling the club's double-winning trophies at the Juventus Stadium.

He added: "As for Pirlo, he hasn't expressed a desire to leave, that's important. His contract runs until 2016, and we want him to stay. After he's back from international duty he'll let us know.

"I repeat: he hasn't said he wants to leave."
