The 22-year-old midfielder left Old Trafford on a free transfer a couple of years ago but is now regarded as one of the world's most promising young players. City are amongst several members of Europe's elite that are interested in the Frenchman and it has been reported Juventus will be unwilling to part with their prize asset for less than £70 million. Many will baulk at such a huge fee, but Pogba could go on to become a world beater and a tailor made replacement for Yaya Toure.

However, the Chilean manager, who is nicknamed 'The Engineer', seems to have escaped the sack, despite overseeing a disappointing set of results at Manchester City last season.
The Citizens' squad needs to be freshened up if they are to challenge champions Chelsea and, with plenty of money in the bank, the club are expected to invest significantly this summer.
