‘Serie A with Savoretti’ … It’s the league I follow most.
Who are the greatest football team in the land?
Being a Genoa fan it’s hard for me to call. But this year it’s a two horse race between Manchester City and Chelsea
Who is the most rock ‘n’ roll player playing the beautiful game right now?
David Silva. He can do no wrong.
If you were put in charge of the pre-match entertainment for the FA Cup final at Wembley, what band do you want playing live?
I didn’t realise I was a Bruno Mars fan until I saw his half-time show at the Super Bowl, and with his latest collaboration with Mark Ronson … well, that would be a party!
Who’s gonna sing the National Anthem?
Get Ed Harcourt in to make it interesting. The man is national treasure and a musical genius.
What track are the players walking down the tunnel and onto the pitch to?
We like to walk on stage to ‘Roman Blue’ by Rome.
What’s on the stereo in the dressing room to psyche the players up?
‘One Of these Nights’ by The Eagles
You build your own rock ‘n’ roll five-a-side team, who’s in it?
In a world without time… Serge from Kasabian, Rod Stewart, Bob Marley, myself, Paolo Nutini and Pavarotti in goal, nothing would get past him! (Er, that’s six players…? Ed)
You get to pick one footballer to work as roadie with your band. Who is it and what do you have them doing?
Diego Maradona. He would be in charge of organising the after party
What's going on for you as an artist at the moment?
My new album ‘Written In Scars’ is coming out on February 9 and I will be on tour in the UK this spring with my biggest show to date at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 4.
