After resting Steven Gerrard and seeing Liverpool turn in a blistering 4-1 winning performance against Swansea, Brendan Rodgers has recalled his skipper for the visit of Leicester.
The New Year's Day fixture also sees Martin Skrtel suspended, with Kolo Toure coming back into the side.
But it was the inclusion of Gerrard at the expense of Javi Manquillo that was the main talking point.
