England have suffered yet another injury blow for upcoming Lithuania and Italy clashes with news Tottenham defender Danny Rose has withdrawn from the squad.
Stars have dropped like flies since last week’s team announcement and the 24-year-old becomes the latest player to drop out, having received a late call up as a replacement for the injured Luke Shaw.
Manchester United youngster Shaw pulled out of the squad on Saturday with a hamstring problem but left-back Rose has now been sent back to his club with an injury of his own.
An FA statement released on Wednesday night read: "Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose has withdrawn from the England camp through injury.
"The left-back will play no further part in preparation for the forthcoming fixtures against Lithuania and Italy and has returned to his club."
